Saskatchewan's NDP Opposition says the province failed to prepare hospitals for a surge of summer births.

Low staffing levels at Saskatoon's Jim Pattison Children's Hospital (JPCH) and Regina General Hospital led to unsafe conditions on maternity wards, said Meara Conway, the NDP health critic.
