A 36-year-old woman has been charged with second-degree murder after a vehicular homicide in Regina.

The Regina Police Service says that at 1:15 p.m. CST on Tuesday, officers responded to the 2200 block of Lindsay Street — an area that includes the Al Ritchie Arena and the Prince of Wales Branch of the Regina Public Library — after reports that a man was injured after being hit by a vehicle.

Police and EMS arrived on scene and attempted live-saving measures on the man, but were unsuccessful.
